SVASTA in 2009

December 2009

Merry Christmas !!! We are preparing the company party and we are expecting the quiet days around Christmas in order to analyse the year. 2009 was not an easy year; however, we are using these calme days to prepare a better year 2010 !

 

December 2009

A SVASTA trainee receives the diploma with the serial number 3.000. Starting 2004, SVASTA has decided to register the diplomas awarded during its training programs. The serie and number of the diploma grants the access in the portal www.management-training.ro, where, apart from SVASTA trainers thought, in the section AGORA, the trainees can acccess multiple professional materials in Public Procurement, Controlling and Project Management.

 

December 2009

SVASTA finalise and deliver a market study for the most important romanian fish products manufacturer. The study has analysed niche markets from Romania but also international markets, development directions for the company being identified.

 

November 2009

SVASTA moves onto new premises, on the 8th Alexandru Macedonski St., 3 minutes from Romana Square and nearby the Romanian Academy of Economics. All the other company contact data remain unchanged. A map and a picture of the company HQ can be downloaded in Contact section.

 

November 2009

The studiOpera projects is launched. A partnership between National Opera Bucharest, Academia de Teatro della Scala di Milano and Svasta Consult, funded by ESF - European Social Fund with aprox. 18 millions lei (about 5 millions Eur), the largest funding obtained by a cultural organisation in Romania. SVASTA ensured the project application and will perform also the project management, on behalf of the National Opera.

 

October 2009

SVASTA finalise a project in which assisted the larges Romanian medical equipment manufacturer to design and implement an internal budgeting systems for all departments, aiming to cost reductions with all company departments.

 

September 2009

Ministry of Economy approves the final reports of the technical assistance project Workspace Center Management & Enterprise Support, implemented by SVASTA and funded by World Bank. The contract, with an aproximate value of 1,0 Mio USD, contained over 170 consulting man-months over 3 years period, a team of 7 consultants being involved.

 

September 2009

SVASTA organise a study visit in Germany for Romanian specialists from Romanian Parliament, central and local public administration, on environment protection topics. The visit included meetings at German Parliament and German Federal Ministry for Environment, and visits to a German city fully independent from energy terms and waste processing factory.

 

July 2009

SVASTA submits its first report within the ELAN project (Electronics & Entreprenurship), project funded under ESF and implemented in partnership with the Politechnic University of Bucharest. The project, with a budget of over 10 Millions lei, aims to stimulate the entrepreneurial attitude of the students and young graduates, with a focus on electronic industry and connex industries.

 

June 2009

Mihai SVASTA presents a lecture within the international seminar Investment and Economic Reconstruction, organised by Romanian Academy of Economics. The title of the lecture was "Existance crisis of the present financial management systems". The material can be downloaded in e-library section, only in Romanian language.

A team of SVASTA consultants, coordinated by Alin Ivan, delivers a complete cost accounting system for an important milk products manufacturer from Alba county. The system allows the company to identify its hidden loss sources and to establish different price strategies on products and on distribution channels.

Mihai Svasta is invited to lecture a course of European Projects' Management within the Master in Project Management programme from the Romanian Academy of Economics.

 

 

Aprilie 2009

SVASTA, through Alin Ivan and Filip Daraban, delivers 2 management training programs within the Crossborder Romanian Ukraine programme, in partnership with the "Pentru Voi" foundation from Baia Mare.

SVASTA, through Mădălina Drișcu și Alin Ivan, delivers coaching program in controlling and cost accounting for the largest private Romanian medical equipment manufaturer. The coaching was a first step in the company objective to establish a formal budgeting and financial planning system within the company.

Mihai Svasta presents a lecture within the Regional Consulting Conference Timisoara 2009 with the title "In the moment all resources decrease, it is the moment to use consulting. In a profesional and ethical way".

The ELAN project is launched (Electronics and Entrepreneurship), a project financed from ESF, implemented by Politechnica University Bucharest, in consortium with SVASTA Consult and other 4 professional associations. The project, with a planned implemention period of 3 years and a budget over 10 Mio Lei (over 3 Mio Eur), aims to foster the entreprenurial spirit within students and young entrepreneurs from the electronics field and connex industries.

 

February 2009

SVASTA delivers a Strategic Development Plan to the second home appliances manufacturer from Romania. The plan structured its business lines, analised its strategic positioning and contained recommendations for the current operations. The plan contained also a 3 years financial projection and a companz market evaluation.

SVASTA participate within the TerraTec fair from Leipzig, one of the most important fairs in the field of Environment Protection and Energy. The SVASTA participation presented the company competences in the field of project management, financials, and partnesrhips with the German speaking business environment, with a focus on energy and environment projects.
